Kernaghan, who has eight years’ experience in the Sydney office market, takes over from Tim O’Connor, who has held the dual role of NSW head of leasing and Australian head for the past 18 months.Kernaghan is a founding member of JLL’s Young Guns Committee, which organises annual events to raise money for charity.Knight Frank has bolstered its Office Agency team in South Sydney by appointing Nick Sinclair as associate director South Sydney. Sinclair, who joins Knight Frank from CBRE, has extensive experience across the commercial sales and leasing markets in South Sydney and the city fringe.LaSalle has announced that Chris Forbes has taken on the role of head of Funds Management for Australia. Forbes will provide strategic oversight of the LaSalle Australia Core Plus Fund and the LaSalle Australia Club Investments Trust with a view to driving fund performance. He joins LaSalle from Charter Hall, where he worked for nine years in the Asia-Pacific market, successfully leading a $2-billion core plus fund.CBRE has strengthened its City Sales team in Melbourne with the recent appointment of experienced real estate professional Paul Tzamalis.Tzamalis joins CBRE’s City Sales team in Melbourne from his previous position in the company’s City Fringe & Metropolitan Investments team. He’s charged with increasing City Sales’ presence in Melbourne’s commercial market, focusing specifically on sub $15 million incoming producing assets.Tzamalis was named Outstanding Young Agent of the Year at the 2014 REIV Awards for Excellence.
