People on the move – 7 July 2014Knight Frank appoints Andrew Palmer as executive of retail investment sales in Sydney; CBRE appoints Luke Etherington to its institutional investments team; and Colliers International and JLL announce staff promotions.Knight Frank has appointed Andrew Palmer as executive of retail investment sales in Sydney. He will transfer from the NSW commercial sales team.At CBRE, Luke Etherington brings 13 years’ property experience, including seven years at Colonial First State, to his role as a director of the Melbourne institutional investments team. For the past year, Etherington has been responsible for the Commonwealth Property Office Fund’s Southern Portfolio, specialising in leasing, the delivery of major refurbishment and development projects, property management, and property positioning and strategy.Colliers International’s mid-year promotions include the appointment of five new national directors. They are Leigh Melbourne (capital markets in Melbourne), Tim Altschwager (rural and agribusiness in Adelaide), Craig Clayworth (valuation and advisory services in Brisbane), Adam Fulton (valuation and advisory services in Sydney West) and Guillaume Volz (residential in Sydney).JLL has promoted two of its senior executives as international directors, among 155 promotions Australia-wide. They are Adrienne Revai (chief operating officer for Australia) and Richard Fennell (head of property and asset management Australia).
