The Committee for Sydney hires two directors and Rachel Watson steps up as chair of the Clean Energy Council. Meanwhile, architecture and design firm Marchese Partners has appointed a new principal for its Melbourne office.

The Committee for Sydney has two new directors: James Hulme as director of advocacy and Victoria Black as director of partnerships.

Pacific Hydro’s general manager for new business Rachel Watson is the new chair of the Clean Energy Council. Watson replaces Infigen Energy’s Miles George, and is the council’s first female chair.

Architecture and design firm Marchese Partners has appointed a new principal for its Melbourne office. Simon Drysdale (pictured) takes over the position from incumbent principal Tony DelDuca, who assumes a new strategic role in Marchese Partners’ head office in Sydney.

Aged care industry expert Patrick Reid and Illawarra businessman Peter Fitzgerald are new directors of national seniors’ lifestyle and care provider, IRT Group.

Savills Australia continues to strengthen its Victorian office leasing team with the appointment of Charlie Betts as senior executive for office leasing. Betts joins Savills from Nixon Real Estate where he completed more than 100 commercial transactions over 12 months.

Cushman & Wakefield continues to bolster its retail presence with the appointment of Michael Di Carlo as director of retail leasing and Allison Hall as associate director for retail advisory. Di Carlo oversaw Savills’ Victorian leasing team for several years, while Hall comes from The Just Group, parent company of brands including Peter Alexander, Smiggle and Just Jeans.
