New chief executive for RetireAustralia; Colliers expands Melbourne retail leasing team; Woods Bagot hires Asia specialist; CBRE appoints agricultural valuer in FNQ.

RetireAustralia has appointed Alison Quinn as its new chief executive, from January next year. Alison joins the group, which is Australia’s largest privately owned retirement village operator, from Aveo where she was responsible for the strategic and operational management of the rival group’s retirement division.

Colliers International has added to its retail leasing team in Melbourne with the appointment of Daniel Noonan as executive – Large Format Retail. He was previously with Fitzroys where he worked in commercial and high street retail leasing.

Victor De Baets has joined the global studio of design company Woods Bagot to diversify its core service sectors in Asia. De Baets brings more than 25 years’ experience in the design and delivery of projects in the research, pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. He has successfully delivered a range of major projects in China, Australia, Europe and SE Asia. His time will be split / between China and Australia and he will work closely with Woods Bagot global director of Health and Science, Georgia Singleton.

CBRE has recruited Peter Honnef to strengthen its Agribusiness Valuations team. Honnef has joined CBRE as a director – Agribusiness and will be based in Townsville. Prior to joining CBRE, he owned and operated Honnef North Australian Valuations for seven years, which specialised in agribusiness, hospitality and commercial valuations. Prior to this Honnef was a director at Herron Todd White, Townsville.
