People on the Move – 30 May 2018
Infrastructure Australia’s chief executive Philip Davies steps down, Darrell Irwin returns to Robina Group as development manager, and Anthony Zantiotis takes on site acquisitions at CI Australia.
Infrastructure Australia chief executive Philip Davies has decided not to renew his contract and will be departing the organisation at the end of August. Chair Julieanne Alroe, says Davies, who was at the helm for three years, “built an organisation that is deeply respected in the Australian community for providing independent, evidence-based advice on the projects and reforms that are in our national interest”. Search for a new CEO is now underway.
Meanwhile, Peter Colacino has been appointed as Infrastructure Australia’s executive director of policy and research. Colacino is currently executive general manager of corporate affairs at NRMA and has extensive public and private sector experience.
Darrell Irwin comes a full circle as he takes up a new role as development manager at Robina Group – the same position he held for the company from 1994 to 2002. Irwin returns after a 13-year stint with Colliers International, the last two years as director. Irwin will manage sales of the largest single residential community Robina Group has undertaken – the $170 million Vue Terrace Homes, currently under construction in the Stadium Village precinct.
James Trimble has been appointed general manager for Raine & Horne South Australia in a move which aims to strengthen the group’s position throughout the state. Trimble, who has worked in real estate since the 1990s, moves over from a role as business support and development manager for the company in NSW.
Real estate agency CI Australia has a new site acquisitions executive. Anthony Zantiotis has been appointed to meet demand for clients looking to expand in the Sydney and regional centres. Meanwhile, Amy Kellow has joined the firm as communications manager from JLL.
