People on the move – 28 April 2015CBRE bolsters its Industrial & Logistics and Retail teams; Nicole Faulkner has been appointed as executive director at Beveridge Williams; Northrop Consulting Engineers appoints Justin Davies as its new chief operating officer; and Amicus Interiors promotes Kane Godfrey to NSW managing director. Ben Clarke has been appointed as senior manager of CBRE’s Industrial & Logistics Services team in Perth. Clarke, who has more than two decades’ experience in sales, leasing and valuations, takes on the role after two years with commercial and industrial agency MLV Real Estate.CBRE has also announced appointments to its Brisbane operations. Andrew Brimson joins the company as a negotiator for the Large Formal Retail team. He has more than 12 years’ experience in commercial real estate sales and leasing, property valuations and funds management, both in Brisbane and nationally. Brimson’s previous role was as senior property analyst with Sentinel Property Group, where he was involved in acquisitions, sales and leasing of retail and large format retail centres, as well as commercial and industrial assets. Two other property professionals, Mitchell Stewart and Eloise Oakes, have been appointed to CBRE’s CBD and fringe retail team. Both Stewart and Oakes join as negotiators for the Retail Services team, working specifically with Brisbane CBD and fringe sites. Oakes will also assist the Large Format Retail team with food and beverage retailers. Nicole Faulkner is the first female director to join the Board of development and environment consultants Beveridge Williams. Faulkner, who has been with Beveridge Williams for more than seven years, has experience in landscape architecture and urban design.In Brisbane, Northrop Consulting Engineers has appointed Justin Davies as the company’s new chief operating officer. Davies has significant experience at senior management level, including nine years as CEO of New Zealand-based firm Net Limited. Office fit-out firm Amicus Interiors has promoted Kane Godfrey to NSW managing director. He will take over responsibility for delivering more than 40 projects a year with a turnover of approximately $25 million. Godfrey originally joined the Amicus Interiors team as site manager in 2007 and was promoted to the role of project manager in 2010. Among his achievements is the project management and delivery of SingTel Optus’ Australasian headquarters in Macquarie Park.Jason Williams, another addition to the Amicus Interiors senior leadership team, has taken on the position of national group sales manager, based in Queensland.
