Geyer appoints Carol Ann Pickvance to head up its strategy, Barry Mann is UrbanGrowth’s new chief executive officer and Knight Frank appoints Scott Timbrell and Richard Klein in NSW.

Geyer has appointed workplace expert Carol Ann-Pickvance (pictured) to head up its strategy. Prior to joining Geyer, Pickvance was a senior associate at HASSELL and BVN, and an associate director at DEGW in London. More recently, she has delivered sustainable behavioural change at AMP.

Barry Mann, UrbanGrowth NSW’s new chief executive officer, starts his new role this week. Mann initiated the $2 billion Parramatta Square project when he worked for Parramatta City Council and more recently held roles across the UrbanGrowth NSW’s project portfolio. He spent 14 years with Lendlease, and six with Stockland.

Knight Frank has appointed a new director in charge of Western Sydney. Scott Timbrell joined the firm last week. Timbrell most recently held the position of director at Ray White Commercial, working primarily across metropolitan sales, and prior to this, was with JLL.

Meanwhile, Richard Klein takes on head of project marketing for Knight Frank in New South Wales. Formerly the agency’s senior sales and strategy consultant in Victoria, Klein has spent 15 years in the residential development sector, having worked for established consultants and for developers in Sydney, Melbourne, London and Dubai.
