Vicinity Centres CEO and Managing Director announces plans to retire, Shanana McKenzie moves to Bioenergy Australia, TH Real Estate and Savills expand their teams, and environmental scientist Elizabeth Hurst joins Arcadis.

Vicinity Centres CEO and Managing Director Angus McNaughton (pictured) has announced that he plans to retire at the end of 2016. Angus has over 25 years involvement in the property industry and is a member of the Property Council Board of Directors

Shanana McKenzie is moving on from the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects after more than three years as its chief executive. McKenzie has been appointed chief executive of advocacy organisation Bioenergy Australia.

TH Real Estate expands its Australian team with the appointment of Chris Maher as transaction manager. Maher joins the global real estate management firm from Vicinity Group, where he managed $1.5 billion of real estate.

Environmental scientist Elizabeth Hurst joins Arcadis as a technical director. Hurst has worked on projects including the Mernda rail corridor upgrade and Craigieburn train maintenance facility in Victoria, as well as the London channel tunnel rail link.

Savills has appointed industrial property operative, Alex Andrews, to the role of executive Industrial at the firm’s Notting Hill office in Melbourne’s south-east. Andrews has worked with key commercial agencies in the region including Camerons and Collins Commercial & Industrial.
