Consult Australia chief Megan Motto steps down, AMP Capital’s Paul Badenhorst moves to CBRE, Andrew Harvey is promoted at JLL and Peter Poulet is appointed Central Sydney District Commissioner.

After 18 years with Consult Australia, CEO Megan Motto is finishing up with the organisation. During her time at the helm, Motto has driven the Consult Australia Male Champions of Change program, and made significant contributions to public policy in her positions on government roundtables and steering committees.

Former AMP Capital executive Paul Badenhorst has been appointed to lead CBRE’s Pacific advisory and transaction services – office leasing business. Badenhorst has held senior leadership, leasing and asset management positions at firms including Savills and Rand Merchant Bank Properties, working in both Australia and South Africa. He was previously head of office asset management for AMP Capital, overseeing an asset portfolio valued at over AU$5bn.

After more than 25 years with JLL in its property and asset management division, Andrew Harvey has been appointed head of property and asset management for the agency in NSW. Harvey has held positions that include national head of engineering and operations services; national head of Colonial First State’s commercial office portfolio, head of engineering for The GPT Group and Lendlease portfolios; and general manager of both Australia Square and 2 Park Street. JLL’s property and asset management division manages more than 1,0 mixed-use, office, retail, residential and industrial assets across Australia with an NLA of 13 million-plus sqm.

NSW government architect Peter Poulet has been appointed Central Sydney District Commissioner for the Greater Sydney Commission. Poulet is also deputy chair of the Central Sydney Planning Committee.

Brodie Blades has been appointed associate urban designer in SJB Urban’s Melbourne studio. Blades moves across from David Lock Associates after three years with the firm. He has previously worked with the City of Melbourne as a town planner.

Nick Sworder and Christopher Tana, the directors of Homestead Realty and Martino Property Group, have joined forces with a new brand: ProProperty Group. The new agency will specialise residential and commercial properties, land sales, house-and-land packages, sub-divisions and development projects in the West Australian market.

ASPECT Studios has a new director of infrastructure. Adam Kiekebosch is taking on the role after moving on from his role as studio manager for design and planning at Australian-based infrastructure consulting services company SMEC.
