People on the Move – 25 October 2016The Property Council appoints Mirvac chief Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz and GPT Group’s Anastasia Clarke to its national board. Meanwhile, Savills, Cushman & Wakefield and the Green Building Council of Australia grow their teams.Mirvac chief Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz has been elected national vice president of the Property Council at the board’s most recent meeting. Anastasia Clarke, GPT Group’s chief financial officer, has been appointed a director representing the capital markets sector.Mark Steinert, the Property Council’s national president, said the two appointments will further strengthen the already “strong, diverse board that represents the depth and breadth of the industry”.Ben Tremellen has been named Cushman & Wakefield’s new national director, retail leasing, based in Melbourne. Tremellen joins the team following the recent appointment of Matt Hudson as national director, based in Sydney. Savills Australia’s national valuation and advisory division has announced three new promotions. In Sydney, Sandra Peachey is now national director of mortgage valuations. In Melbourne, Ross Smillie has been promoted to national director responsible for industrial valuations and Joe Phegan to state director Victoria. Naomi Martin is the Green Building Council of Australia new senior manager overseeing strategic products and services. Martin previously drove the Sydney Opera House’s sustainability agenda.
