Ross Elliott is announced as APP Corporation’s new regional general manager in Queensland, Richard Guerra joins Donald Cant Watts Corke and JLL has promoted analyst Andrew Havig.

Property consultancy APP Corporation has appointed Ross Elliott as its new regional general manager for Queensland. Elliott joins APP with almost 30 years of experience in the private, public and not‐for‐profit sectors. His previous roles include CEO at Brisbane Marketing, national executive director at the Residential Development Council and both executive director and national chief operating officer at the Property Council of Australia.

Richard Guerra joins cost and project management company Donald Cant Watts Corke as its new managing director in South Australia. Guerra, who previously worked with Turner & Townsend, has quantity surveying and cost management experience in the transport, infrastructure and mining sectors.

JLL has promoted analyst Andrew Havig to the role of executive of metro sales and investments. Havig joined this team in 2017 as an analyst, and will now specialise in investment, owner occupier and development opportunities in the fringe Brisbane market and major regional locations.

Norman Disney & Young has been acquired by North American consulting, science and engineering company Tetra Tech, Inc. Tetra Tech was founded in 1966 and today employs about 16,000 people across 400 offices worldwide. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.  NDY is joining Tetra Tech’s Asia Pacific Division.
