Aurecon appoints Aneetha de Silva as managing director for government, TH Real Estate grows its Australian team and Stuart Moseley takes on the top job at the Victorian Planning Authority.
Aurecon has appointed leading public infrastructure expert Aneetha de Silva (pictured) as managing director of its government business. With 20 years’ experience in public and private sector infrastructure roles, de Silva was involved in all of Victoria’s transport PPP projects and several other social infrastructure PPPs. This includes, most recently, the West Gate Tunnel project.
TH Real Estate grows its Australian team with the appointment of Lisa Peng as real estate investment analyst. In the newly created role, Peng will be responsible for providing analytical support, research, and financial analysis. She joins from St George Bank.
Railway infrastructure and project management specialist, Clara Tetther, has joined Arcadis Australia Pacific from PwC. Tetther takes on the role of infrastructure advisory lead in Queensland, having previously worked on key projects and clients such as TransLink, New Intercity Fleet, the Capital Metro and Moreton Bay Rail.
Planning expert Stuart Moseley has been appointed chief executive of the Victorian Planning Authority, assuming the reins from Steve Dunn who was acting in the position. Most recently, Mosely was deputy director general of the Queensland Department of Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning.
The Bond University Faculty of Society and Design has appointed Queensland architect and academic, Michael Keniger, to its Abedian School of Architecture. The former Queensland Government architect, Keniger has delivered iconic public projects including Brisbane’s Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) and State Library.
