ART 15 NAT PW 2403 People on the moveCBRE announces a number of senior leadership appointments; and Warren McGregor is appointed CEO of prefabAUS.Among the appointments announced at CBRE, Ray Pittman will be made president and CEO of the firm’s Pacific operations. He is currently senior managing director for CBRE’s business lines in the American state of Colorado.Pittman has more than 28 years’ experience in the areas of brokerage, account management, acquisition and development, business development, corporate strategy and executive team leadership.He replaces longstanding Pacific president and CEO Tom Southern, who has been promoted to executive chairman, Pacific, with overall responsibility for the region. Southern’s new role will require him to focus on the strategic development of the business, with particular emphasis on clients and capital markets; he will also drive CBRE’s recruitment program across the Asia-Pacific.Pittman will assume his new role in June.Other appointments within the CBRE stable include Cameron Grier to the position of senior managing director of NSW. He has been with CBRE for almost 15 years and has been senior managing director of Victoria since late 2013.Mark Coster, currently director of Capital Markets at CBRE, has been promoted to senior managing director, Victoria.Meanwhile, prefabAUS, the peak industry body representing the growing off-site construction sector, has appointed Warren McGregor to the position of CEO. McGregor was formerly general manager of the Asian region for KPMG, principal of apriori and senior adviser for Thinc Projects.McGregor will be charged with facilitating and managing the growth of the organisation and helping to enable links among suppliers, clients and allied interests in Australia and overseas.According to prefabAUS, prefabricated construction currently accounts for about 3 per cent of all housing construction in Australia but is forecast to rise to between 10 and 15 per cent by 2023.
