Former Leighton Properties executives launch a new development company, ex-army lieutenant general Ken Gillespie takes on NSW regional infrastructure coordination, and CBRE appoints new asset services specialists.
Former Leighton Properties executives Peter Clemesha, Stephen Rayleigh and James Paver have launched Avenor Pty Ltd, a new Sydney-based development company. They have been joined by Nathan Andersen, Richard Bradley, Kelvin Steel and Andrew Coward, which will focus on large residential and mixed-use precincts, and institutional grade commercial office projects in Australia’s capital cities.
Former army chief lieutenant general Ken Gillespie has been appointed NSW’s new regional infrastructure coordinator, and is tasked with accelerating the rollout of infrastructure across the state. NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian has said Gillespie will “identify and overcome any roadblocks” to the local infrastructure program.
CBRE has appointed Kate Pascoe (pictured) to head up its asset services division on the Sunshine Coast. Pascoe joins CBRE Sunshine Coast as associate director from Savills, and will have responsibility for the division’s operations in the region. The appointment follows the relocation of Jennifer Ellis to CBRE’s Melbourne asset services business. Ellis will manage a retail portfolio in CBRE’s Melbourne office.
Simon Terry has been hired by end-of-trip facility designer PFL Spaces as its new design manager in Melbourne. Terry will work on concept design for big commercial buildings, and will also be focused on R&D.
