People on the move – 2 February 2015CBRE announces the appointment of Lloyd Jenkins as WA managing director; Michael Heather and Aaron Green join JLL Canberra; and Hyder Consulting promotes two employees, Malcolm McDowall and Anthony Venturini, to sector managing director roles.CBRE has announced that Lloyd Jenkins will take on the role of WA managing director, reporting to senior managing director of CBRE’s WA, SA and ACT businesses, Peter Agostino.According to CBRE, Jenkins’ appointment will help the company to consolidate its continued strong growth and cement its commitment to business development and client care. Jenkins will take on day-to-day responsibility for, and administration of, the WA business.Jenkins comes to the role with wide-ranging industry experience, including previous roles with home builder BGC Australia (where he was executive general manager), Investa Property Group and JLL.JLL Canberra has announced two appointments in the ACT: Michael Heather as head of sales and investments – ACT; and Aaron Green as sales and leasing executive – ACT. Both join JLL from Colliers International.Heather was previously director of capital markets for ACT at Colliers International, where he was involved in major deals such as the sale of the NewActon building at 23 Marcus Clarke Street in late 2014 for $45.1 million.Green comes to his new role with more than six years’ experience in Canberra’s sales and leasing market.At Hyder Consulting, Malcolm McDowall has been appointed to lead Environment and Project Services, a new sector within the company’s Australasian business. He was previously managing director for Property. The introduction of the sector represents a new focus for Hyder’s Australasian business.Meanwhile, Anthony Venturini will lead Hyder’s Buildings and Urban Development sector in Australasia. Venturini has worked on several key building and infrastructure projects at Hyder for 13 years. Most recently he was director of Property Energy Services.
