Retirement living champion Michael Eggington joins Thirdi to lead its new ThirdAge Villages division, while Michael Chant takes on a new role with construction specialist Donald Cant Watts Corke.

Retirement living champion Michael Eggington (pictured) has joined property development and investment company Thirdi. The company has launched a ThirdAge Villages division, which Eggington will lead. A foundation member of the Retirement Living Council, Eggington has held roles with Stockland, as general manager of retirement living. More recently, as managing director of Lendlease retirement, Eggington oversaw the management more than 14,000 properties across Australia.

Michael Chant has taken on the role of director for construction company Donald Cant Watts Corke in Canberra, and will head up the project management division for the ACT office. Chant moves over from changepm, and has more than 15 years’ experience in the project management field.

Recent movements at Sustainability Victoria include Jonathan Leake, who has been appointed director business and built environment after most recently being responsible for the agency’s resource recovery program. Leake replaces Warren Overton who now leads not-for-profit Australia and New Zealand Recycling Platform.

Meanwhile, after four years leading Sustainability Victoria’s retrofit program, Sally Moxham is now manager environment and transport at City of Darebin.

Savills Australia has appointed a new project director and project manager as the Victorian business expands its footprint in Melbourne. Project director Metin Guzel moves over from RMIT where he worked as a program manager for major projects. Project manager Max Sibiriakov joins Savills from DRC Group, where he headed up the project management team and worked on major commercial refurbishments for various large-scale international clients.

Ray White appointed Simon Power as national talent and leadership manager. Power, who moves over from workforce and education provider Allara Learning, will help the group’s 1,000 offices across Australia and New Zealand to identify the best salespeople to service their local communities.
