People on the move – 17 November 2014UBS Grocon Real Estate appoints Nick Dowling as CEO; Jane Henley to depart World Green Building Council; Fitzroys appoints director and announces promotions; and Ross Reynolds joins HDR Rice Daubney.UBS Grocon Real Estate (UBS Grocon) has announced the appointment of Nick Dowling as CEO. He joins UBS Grocon from Goldman Sachs, where he led a pan-regional practice area servicing regional and global clients.World Green Building Council (WorldGBC) has confirmed that CEO Jane Henley will be leaving the organisation in March, by which time she will have served as CEO for four years. Previously, she was at the helm of the New Zealand Green Building Council, which she helped to establish in 2005.Fitzroys has bolstered its agency division with the appointment of director Paul Burns, who comes from JLL. Burns’ previous experience also includes 15 years at Knight Frank.Fitzroys has also announced a round of promotions: Charles Emmett and Mars Njoo have been made senior associates; Michael Ryan, Trevor McCoy and Paul Tucker are now associates; and Tom Backay, James Lockwood and Andrew Hewett have been promoted to managers.Ross Reynolds has joined the ranks of HDR Rice Daubney as the director of business development, working directly with the heads of the retail, commercial, health and defence sectors to strengthen HDR Rice Daubney’s business activities from the Sydney office.
