A new CEO is appointed to the Macquarie Point Development Corporation, CBRE has a new team, while JLL, Architectus and Donald Cant Watts Corke add to their stables.
Former executive director of the Property Council, Mary Massina (pictured), has been appointed chief executive officer of the Macquarie Point Development Corporation in Hobart. Massina will lead the $2bn redevelopment of Macquarie Point, the brainchild of MONA founder David Walsh.
CBRE has a new capital markets team in NSW with appointments for Michael Andrews, Thomas Gnieser and James Parry. CBRE International Investments senior director Andrews takes on the newly-created role of state director. Gnieser returns from CBRE’s capital markets business in Japan to assume the role of senior director. And Parry, formerly Knight Frank’s Australian managing director of capital markets, James Parry, has been appointed state director in the office sector.
JLL has appointed experienced commercial property professional Troy McGuinness to its office leasing team in Canberra. McGuinness, who joins JLL in the role of senior leasing executive, was most recently at Ray White Canberra for six years.
Architectus has appointed two new principals – Mark van den Enden and Dario Spralja. Van den Enden will join the Melbourne office while Spralja will be part of the Sydney operation.
Donald Cant Watts Corke has a new managing director in Western Australia, Neil Dickson. Former managing director Richard Archer, who has worked with the firm for close to a decade, will continue to serve as a director.
