AECOM appoints a new director of market engagement, Trudy-Ann King, while growth in assets under management at Australian Ethical leads to the acquisition of seven new staff members.
Trudy-Ann King (pictured) has joined AECOM as director of market engagement for Australia and New Zealand. King was with the Green Building Council of Australia for eight years most recently as head of market engagement. Prior to that, she worked in strategic workplace and office design at BVN Architecture and Woods Bagot.
Having doubled its assets under management since 2015 to $2 billion, Australian Ethical has boosted its team with the appointment of seven new staff members. Mark Shanahan, former chief financial officer with Macquarie Group, has been appointed CFO and chief operating officer. Karen Hughes, previously general manager risk and compliance with Stateplus, is now chief risk officer. Director and group financial controller with Bank of America, Kathy Kung takes on the newly-created role of head of finance. Mark Simons has been appointed head of product finance, Allyson Lowbridge is the new chief customer officer, Leah Waldie head of client relationships and Lauren Hogbin the new senior manager strategic marketing.
Savills Australia has appointed Andrew Stewart as managing director of its Canberra office. Stewart has spent the past 17 years with CBRE, with the last six spent as managing director in Canberra.
In Melbourne, Savills has appointed Tom Lund as its new executive for industrial. Savills is also expanding its national hotels team, with the appointment of a new pubs division in Brisbane. Seven agents and two support staff join the team, led by director Tony Bargwanna.
