Arcadis continues to bolster its team with two new appointments, Arup employs a new transport expert, Master Builders Australia announces its new CEO and a smart cities expert takes on new challenges.
Global rail expert Sharon Mawhinney (pictured) has joined Arcadis Australia Pacific from PwC. Mawhinney, who has worked on major light rail projects in Sydney and Canberra, has been appointed infrastructure advisory lead.
Arcadis has also appointed Belinda Ritchie as general counsel and company secretary.
Arup also has a new transport expert, after appointing Marc Lane as an associate in its Sydney office. Lane is the former principal urban design advisor for Transport for London, and was an associate director at Urbis.
Denita Wawn is the new Chief Executive Officer of Master Builders Australia. Dawn is the organisation’s first female CEO in its 127-year history and only the third in 30 years. She has spent the last year as MBA’s general manager of operations.
Smart cities expert Johanna Pitman joins startup incubator BlueChilli to run its smart cities accelerator program, CityConnect. Pitman was the deputy chief executive of the Committee for Sydney and policy advisor for the federal Digital Transformation Agency.
