People on the move – 13 October 2014CBRE recruits Peter Krieg to its Residential Site Sales team; acoustics expert Xavier Sanchez-Roemmele joins WGE’s Perth office; and engineering consultancy Northrop appoints Amir Girgis to its sustainability division.Peter Krieg, former Knight Frank state director, has been recruited by CBRE to jointly lead its Residential Site Sales team, working alongside existing directors Matthew Ramsay and Ben Wicks. The team has transacted in excess of $1 billion in development sites this year.Krieg, who has 26 years’ property industry experience, will join CBRE in early November.WGE has brought on Xavier Sanchez-Roemmele as acoustics section manager in Perth. Sanchez-Roemmele has spent more than 15 years in the audio and acoustics fields and was involved in projects such as the Western Australian Institute of Sport’s High Performance Centre, the Sunshine Coast University Hospital and HBF Kings Square.Amir Girgis has been appointed to lead Northrop’s sustainability division in Sydney. Girgis brings more than 10 years’ construction industry experience to the role and will help bolster Northrup’s sustainability offerings in three states. He joins Northrop from Umow Lai, where he worked on commercial, institutional, residential, industrial and retail projects, including the MLC Centre’s retail redevelopment, 56 Clarence Street, Legion House and Werrington Park Corporate Centre.
