Belle Property launches its commercial arm by appointing Michael Hanscomb. Simonds Group’s chief Matthew Chun steps down, while TH Real Estate appoints Martin Priestley to lead its new commercial real estate debt business.

Belle Property Australasia has launched its commercial arm, appointing Michael Hanscomb (pictured) to head up the business and open two franchises in Sydney’s CBD and Inner West. Hanscomb, who has previously worked with CBRE and Knight Frank, is the son of Belle Property Australasia CEO, Peter Hanscomb. Andrew Vines will lead the Sydney CBD private clients operation. Rocco Tripodi will spearhead the Inner West business.

Matthew Chun, chief executive of Simonds Group, one of Australia’s leading home builders, has stepped down following a board restructure.

TH Real Estate has appointed formed CBRE portfolio manager Martin Priestley to head up the company’s new commercial real estate debt business in Australia. Priestley previously led CBRE’s debt and structured finance team in the Asia-Pacific region.

Colliers International has made several new appointments. Mary Del Dosso joins the firm’s fast-growing retail management division in October, and will work alongside her brother, well-known Perth valuer John Del Dosso. Ms Del Dosso, who steps down shortly as the manager of Westfield Innaloo, has held previous retail management positions at David Jones and Hawaiian. She takes on the new title of director retail management.

Meanwhile, James Trescowthick joins Colliers’ national retail valuation and advisory services team in Melbourne as an associate director. Stephanie Siadis takes on the role of executive in the Victorian retail business.
