People on the Move – 11 November 2015Changes to Vicinity’s executive committee; ICBC Credit Suisse makes Hong Kong appointment; WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff recruits from its UK offices; Savills boosts it national valuations team; and Colliers lures local agent in Adelaide.Vicinity Centres has appointed a new member to its executive committee. Simone Carroll will take on the role of executive general manager, Digital, Marketing, People and Culture. Carroll has 20 years’ experience in human resources, marketing and commercial strategy. Most recently, she was executive general manager People and Brand director at REA Group, which includes property sites realestate.com.au and realcommercial.com.au. As part of the organisational change, the current EGM – People and Culture Colleen Harris will leave the group. Following the merger of Federation Centres and Novion earlier this year, the group has recently rebranded as Vicinity Centres.ICBC Credit Suisse Asset Management International has named Laura Lui as head of Index and Quantitative Investment at the Chinese asset manager. Lui will report to CEO Richard Tang and will be based in Hong Kong. Prior to joining ICBC Credit Suisse, she was the head of the exchange traded funds and index team at Mirae Asset Global Investments.Tinoulla Philippou has moved from WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff in the UK to the company’s Australian operation as Property Director, responsible for the internal project management of high-profile projects. In the UK, she was director and head of International Design Management.Savills has made several new appointments to its national valuations business including Stuart Fox, as national head, Valuation & Advisory, based in Melbourne, and Andrew Pannifex, who will take on the role of national director – Institutional Valuations, based in Sydney. Other appointments to Savills’ Valuation & Advisory staff include Chris Paul, Sandra Peachey, Jarrad Owen, Matthew McCoy and John Callaghan in NSW, Heath Dowling in South Australia and James Lister, Dale Doyle and David Long in Queensland.Local real estate agent Chet Al has joined Colliers International’s Investment Services team in Adelaide. He was previously with Toop and Toop Real Estate in Norwood. Prior to moving to Adelaide he worked with Ray White Renmark.Hannah Harding has joined the Property Council as the South Australia events and administration officer. Harding was formerly Conference & Events coordinator at the Stamford Plaza in Adelaide.
