JLL has announced a range of promotions, Arcadis and CBRE bolster their sustainability teams, Adelaide Development Company appoints a new general manager and Domain Group takes on a new executive director.

JLL has announced a range of promotions, including three senior employees promoted to international director – the highest global position. They are: Mike George (Australian head of premium asset group, property and asset management), Andrew Harvey (Australian head of engineering and operations solutions) and Tony Wyllie (Australian head of integrated portfolio services).

A further seven JLL employees have been made regional directors: Adam Barrett (Queensland head of office leasing), Andrew Clowes (head of information technology Australia), Andrew Read (Head of solution development, project and development services Queensland), Jonathan Hassett (integrated facilities management Victoria), Mark Painter (integrated facilities management NSW) Warwick Sauer (legal and compliance), and Melinda van der Westhuizen (Victorian head of property management).

Sustainable design and procurement expert James Herbert has joined Arcadis Australia Pacific. Herbert has worked on key projects including the Sydney Metro and led the development of the Energy and Carbon Category for the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia.

And CBRE has bolstered its sustainability team with the appointment of Dammika Weerakkody (pictured) as a national sustainability manager, based in Adelaide. Weerakkody joins the agency from NettZero, a company that provides sustainability services to many of Australia’s leading property owners.

Adelaide Development Company (ADC) has appointed Lael Mayer as its new general manager. A civil engineer, Mayer will manage all ADC projects, holdings and operations in South Australia.

Tom Ainsworth has moved to Domain Group to take on the role of executive director of residential sales. Ainsworth’s previous employer is Move, Inc., publisher of the US’ second largest real estate portal, realtor.com.
