Lendlease appoints a new head of sustainability and safety, Sustainability Victoria employs three new directors, South East Water has a new CEO and Jacobs takes on an urban planning advisory leader.

Brian Long (pictured) has been appointed Lendlease’s new group head of sustainability and safety, after Geoff Dutaillis stepped down. Long, who has held a number of roles with Lendlease including executive general manager for the regional construction business in the UK, will also be responsible for the Lendlease Foundation.

Sustainability Victoria has appointed three new directors. Katie Pahlow takes on communications and marketing, Warren Overton business and built environment, and Stephanie Ziersch communities and climate change. Pahlow was most recently with the Governor of Victoria, while Overton was chief executive at the Australian Glass and Glazing Association. Ziersch was recently director of climate change projects at the Department of Water, Environment and Natural Resources in South Australia.

South East Water, owned by the Victorian Government, has appointed Terri Benson as its new managing director. Benson has previously been chief executive of SEQWater and managing director of Essential Energy.

Marc Stringa has taken the role of urban planning advisory leader for the Asia Pacific region at engineering firm Jacobs. For the past seven years, Stringa has led his own strategy, planning and design company.
