People on the move – 10 November 2014Cushman & Wakefield appoint two new directors to its Sydney office; Woods Bagot adds to its workplace team; and Tony De Domenico appointed as chairman of the Places Victoria board.Cushman & Wakefield has bolstered its south Sydney and inner west property team by hiring industrial property specialist Michael Binskin to the role of associate director – Industrial.Binksin has 14 years in the industrial sector, most recently at CBRE where he was manager of its South Sydeny Industrial and Logistics Services team. Prior to that role, he was with John L Hill & Co, where he specialised in the inner west industrial market.Another to join the Cushman & Wakefield ranks from CBRE is Sashi Makkapati. He joins Cushman & Wakefield as senior director – National Retail Investments to service the firm’s growing number of private investors, local institutions and offshore investor clients.Woods Bagot has announced two appointments to its workplace team, with Graeme Scannell joining as workplace interiors leader in Perth and Silvia Cupik joining as design leader of workplace (architecture).And Tony De Domenico has been appointed to the position of chairman with the board of Places Victoria. He joins three recently appointed members and two government members.De Domenico has 40 years’ experience across the higher education, international diplomacy and government sectors. For the last 10 years he has been executive director of the Victoria Division of the Urban Development Institute of Australia. He has resigned that position to take on the role of chairman.
