People on the Move – 10 May 2016CBRE Hotel restructures leadership team; LaSalle appoints new head of Research and Strategy, Asia Pacific; JLL hires in debt advisory and residential projects; Colliers beefs up Residential Project Marketing division.CBRE Hotels has restructured its leadership team with Wayne Bunz and Rob Cross as joint national directors of the CBRE Hotels agency business in Australasia and Wesley Milsom leading the Hotels Valuation business. At the same time, Paul Fraser and Sam Handy have joined the firm in Brisbane and Sydney respectively, moving from roles at JLL Hotels. LaSalle Investment Management has appointed Elysia Tse as head of Research and Strategy, Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. Tse was previously a member of LaSalle’s Americas Research & Strategy Group between 2002 and 2005. Prior to returning to LaSalle, she was the head of Research & Strategy – Real Estate Asia Pacific at JP Morgan Asset Management. She joined Aviva in March 2012 before its Asia Pacific direct real estate platform was acquired by JP Morgan Asset Management. She has also worked on research and strategy at Citigroup Property Investors and BlackRock Real Estate Equity in New York.JLL has hired Tim du Temple to lead its debt advisory business in Australia. Du Temple, who has worked in Australian structured real estate financing in Australia and the UK for more than a decade, previously ran his own boutique real estate capital firm. In his new role at JLL he will source debt capital both domestically and offshore for developers and investors who are seeking alternative sources of debt funding.Elsewhere at JLL, Nicholas Hum has joined the firm’s Residential Projects team in Sydney as a director. Hum recently led the sales and marketing team for Chinese developer Country Garden in Malaysia and Australia. Investment fund manager Clarence Property has appointed Northern Rivers commercial lender David Seymour to manage its new mortgage trust, LFP Investment Fund. Seymour has previously held senior executive roles with Westpac and Commonwealth Bank, managing a diversified portfolio of commercial loans.Selda MacDonald has joined Colliers International as a director of Project Marketing in the Residential team, based in the Sydney office. MacDonald has almost 20 years’ experience in the Sydney residential property market, including 13 years with Mirvac before working for CBRE and, more recently, JLL.
