People on the move – 1 September 2014Knight Frank appoints Paul Savitz as an associate director; Colliers International announces two appointments in its Melbourne East office; and Hong Kong architectural practice HB0 + EMTB appoints Stephanie Wang as principal.Knight Frank’s decision to appoint Paul Savitz should help strengthen its national consulting and research offering. Savitz has eight years’ experience in property research and consultancy, with a particular focus on residential and development/site advice.He comes to the role after two years in CBRE’s London office, where he worked with the residential research team. Prior to that he was at Savills, where he specialised in applied research consultancy projects, for five years.Colliers International’s two appointments will help to bolster its growing Melbourne East office team. Patricia Machar has been appointed as an executive within the Office Leasing team, having occupied the roles of office manager and personal assistant since 2006. She is charged with building Colliers International’s business in the metropolitan office and retail leasing.Meanwhile, Daniel Doran has taken on the role of executive in Colliers International’s industrial team. Previously, Doran worked in the industrial and commercial sector at LJ Hooker in Queensland and, most recently, with Alexander Robertson & Co in Melbourne.In Hong Kong, Stephanie Wang has been made principal, Urban and Landscape design, at multidisciplinary design house HB0 + EMTB. Wang worked in the Sydney Urban and Landscape design studio of HB0 + EMTB, and has project experience across the Asia Pacific, in countries such as China and Vietnam, as well as in the Middle East.Among the award-winning projects Wang has overseen are the Central Wanchai Bypass and the Island East Corridor Link D&C in Hong Kong. In 2013, she won a Landscape Interior Design Tender, PRC, for her work on Shenzhen Airport’s terminal 3.
