New Dean of Design, Architecture and Building at UTS; Colliers shifts focus to childcare; A.G. Coombs expands its team; DWP|Suters makes new appointments; and Di Jones Real Estate hires head of Sales following merger.

Professor Elizabeth Mossop (pictured) has been appointed the next Dean of the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building at the University of Technology Sydney. Professor Mossop was most recently Professor of Landscape Architecture and Director of the Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture at Louisiana State University. Prior to this, she was the Director of the Masters of Landscape Architecture program at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Professor Mossop is also a founding principal of Spackman Mossop & Michaels landscape architects.

Colliers International is putting more focus on its childcare team with the appointment of Brian McInally as associate director, Transaction Services in the rapidly growing sector. He will work as part of the Health & Retirement Living team. McInally has been with Colliers since 2010, most recently as associate director in the Investment Services team.

Technical services specialist A.G. Coombs Advisory has added four new personnel. Building services engineer Gary Whatling has been appointed as manager (NSW/ACT), based in Sydney. David Oakeshott has been appointed as leader – Technical Advice (Qld). He was most recently Energy Solutions Manager for BMS. Alan Caulfield will be based in Melbourne as project engineer (Fire) and Simon Jokic will also be based in Melbourne as project engineer (Electrical).

Design firm DWP|Suters has added four new members in its Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne studios. The new appointments are Katarina Vrdoljak, Matthew Hart, Gilda Donegan and PK Lee.

Keith Walker has joined residential agency Di Jones Real estate as head of Sales. He joins Di Jones  from RE/MAX Australia and New Zealand where he was regional owner and franchise director.
