People on the move – 1 December 2014DEXUS names Alison Harrop as deputy chief financial officer; Savills appoints Neil Cooke as divisional director in Residential Site Sales; and Cushman & Wakefield hires Mark Martin as senior director – Agency Services.DEXUS Property Group has announced it will appoint Alison Harrop to the new role of deputy chief financial officer from January 2015. She will also be a member of the group management committee, which has responsibility for DEXUS’s finances in the areas of taxation, treasury, management accounting, corporate accounting and planning and analysis. Harrop will join DEXUS from Westpac where she was the general manager, Group Finance. Prior to that role she was chief financial officer at Australia Post. She has also held senior accounting and finance roles in the financial services industry with Macquarie Bank, Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank. Neil Cooke joins Savills with over 20 years’ experience in engineering, construction, site acquisition, design, development, project marketing and sales. Among his successful residential development projects are Ocean in Narrabeen, Sanctum in Cronulla, Centric in Campbelltown, Bayview in Ramsgate Beach and Esque in Mosman.Mark Martin has been brought on to drive Cushman & Wakefield’s growth on Sydney’s North Shore, having spent 16 years associated with sales and leasing across the North Shore commercial and industrial markets. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Martin was national director at Colliers International, before which he was director in charge of the firm’s North Sydney office.Martin recently negotiated the sale of 78 Waterloo Road in Macquarie Park on behalf of Stockland to CorVal for $71.8 million.
