Palmerston Hospital Update – Project status report

Recent works carried out

• Insulation, vapour barrier and wall sheeting to walls of buildings one and two.
• Gutters and fascia installation to building five.
• Installing window frames and glazing to building six and hospital arcade.
• Set out and install of sunshade brackets to building three.
• Blockwork to main entrance of hospital arcade.

Internal works:

• Running of electrical cable in buildings two, four and five.
• Electrical rough in to buildings two and five.
• Installation of wet and dry fire services to buildings two, five and hospital arcade.
• Mechanical works to buildings one, three, four, five and six. Control cabling to building six.
• First fix of hot and cold water pipe works to buildings two, five and six.
• Installation of communications and data cabling to building six.
• Nurse call and security cabling to buildings five and six.
• Internal wall framing, sheeting, setting and bulk insulation to buildings one, two, three, four and five. Ceiling grid set out and installation to building one, level one and building three, level one.
• Internal metal works to building five.
• Installing lifts five and six.
• Waterproofing and dry bed screed to wet areas in buildings one, three and four. Floor preparation and vinyl laying to level one building one.
• Sealer coat of internal walls to buildings one and three.
• Installation of joinery kickers to building three.
• Internal glazing to building four level one.
