OP Properties progressing exciting new village precinct development at Beaumaris Beach

A new development at exclusive Beaumaris Beach will join generations and connect communities like never before when OP Properties brings the $70million Beaumaris Beach Village Precinct to the area.

OP Properties has partnered with Brightwater Care Group to co-develop a proposed three to four storey village precinct with basement parking that will respectfully deliver currently missing elements to the local community including housing options in the form of apartments and retirement living and local amenity in the form of small shops, café and restaurants fronting the exclusive O’Mara Boulevard.

Local Iluka resident Mr James Woodfield commented how “the prospect of something like this actually happening after being talked about for so long is fantastic!

“I’ll finally be able to walk down the road on a Saturday morning and pick up the paper and a decent coffee”.

“Our vision and challenge is for this village precinct to respectfully deliver greater housing choice, local employment and a vibrant local amenity strip fronting O’Mara Boulevard that the local residents are proud to visit and call their own” said OP Properties Director Luke Parker.

After consulting with the authorities over the past two years and making numerous design updates, OP Properties are now conducting community consultation and are encouraging local residents to visit www.BeaumarisPrecinct.com for further information and to provide feedback.

Community drop in sessions will be held at the Satterley Beaumaris Beach Display Village (3 Romano Crescent, Iluka) from 2pm to 5pm Saturday the 13th and Wednesday the 17th of May.

Following this consultation, strategic planning applications will be lodged next month which will take approximately twelve to eighteen months to be assessed by the authorities before Development Applications, project marketing and construction can occur.

“We’re excited to bring a new concept to the northern suburbs however we need to get it right and I thank the City of Joondalup and other local community representatives for their time to date in providing us feedback on our proposal” said Mr Parker.

“Imagine walking down the street on the weekend, meeting neighbours at the local coffee shop and interacting with people of all ages in a vibrant local village atmosphere, that’s what truly brings communities together and we’re proud to be delivering that.”
