Online tool to support Biodiversity Conservation Strategy

The Government has released an online tool which supports the implementation of the Biodiversity Conservation Strategy (BCS).

The tool enables users to estimate the habitat compensation and land security obligations for land parcels within the area covered by the BCS and which are also subject to last year’s Commonwealth approval.

The tool is part of the Department’s Native Vegetation Information Management system and is available at www.nvim.depi.vic.gov.au. The NVIM Quick Reference info sheet is also available to guide users through the system.
