Olympic Board and President Announced

Five leaders and members of the private sector have been announced as members of the 2032 Olympic board. The five new members include Andrew N. Liveris AO Chairman Lucid Motors and Blackrock Long Term Private Capital and former student Brisbane State High School and The University of Queensland who will be President of the Board.

The other newly announced independent directors include Rob Scott Olympian, Sarah Kelly OAM, Brett Clark and Shelley Reys AO.

The full Board of the Brisbane Organising Committee for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games is now:

•    Mr John Coates AC, Vice President of the International Olympic Committee and AOC President

The Board is tasked with ensuring the OCOG raises revenue, manages the temporary overlay and operation of the venues, and recruits the Brisbane 2032 volunteers, to ensure that the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games is a memorable and successful experience for all.

The board will have its inaugural meeting later this month.
