Office of Projects VictoriaA new government authority has been established to provide expert oversight for Victoria’s infrastructure pipeline.Complementing the work of Infrastructure Victoria and the Department of Treasury and Finance, the Office of Projects Victoria (OPV) will oversee how major projects are developed, contracted and implemented.OPV will be chaired by Ken Mathers, who has more than years of public service experience in the infrastructure sector and assisted by the Victorian Chief Engineer along with a team experienced in engineering, quantity surveying and construction. The Office will also have an advisory board.OPV will : -Provide advice on cost, scope and technical matters for asset investment decisions and project delivery arrangements; -Monitor all major projects; and, -Advise on potential interventions.
