Offers Invited at WGV

People will soon have the opportunity to purchase land in one of Australia’s most environmentally progressive developments with the impending release of the first 15 single lots in LandCorp’s WGV at White Gum Valley.

Priced from $370,000, lots will range from 277sqm to 355sqm in size and each purchase will include a $10,000 sustainability package and a design consultation with the WGV estate architect.

With only 23 single residential lots planned in total, LandCorp chief executive Frank Marra said this land release offered an unparalleled opportunity to live in a sustainable community in the City of Fremantle.

Marra said the development’s sustainability features were leading examples of Innovation through Demonstration by the State’s land and infrastructure developer LandCorp and a major attraction for future residents.

“WGV stands alone as Western Australia’s first residential project to achieve national recognition through global sustainability initiative One Planet Living,” he said.

“The development will feature cutting edge energy, water and climate-responsive design which will equip residents to save up to $1,200 per year in reduced water and power bills through the development’s sustainability measures.”

Marra said WGV was a model of how the State Government and LandCorp are transforming underutilised and disused urban sites into exciting modern communities.

The two hectare residential precinct is on the former Kim Beazley School site, opposite the Royal Fremantle Golf Course on Stevens Street.

“We are delivering a diversity of housing types in response to community demand for more housing opportunities in connected and established suburbs,” Marra said.

“WGV offers people the chance to buy into Fremantle while also offering local residents wanting to downsize their homes an opportunity to do so in their local community and in high-quality, appealing housing types.”

Offers can be submitted between 12pm (WST) Saturday 24 October and 4pm (WST) Wednesday 28 October 2015 to Dethridge Groves Real Estate, 3 Norfolk Street, Fremantle.
