NSW Post-Election Update

The NSW Legislative Council seats have been confirmed following the NSW State Election on 23 March, with the last three seats of the 21 seats decided on preferences.

The Coalition picked up eight seats, Labor seven seats, the Greens two seats, Fishers and Farmers one seat, One Nation two seats and Animal Justice Party one seat.

The NSW Government will need five extra votes in order to pass legislation through the Legislative Council, signifying the importance of collaboration for the government across the whole parliament.
