Wood & Grieve Engineers

Wood & Grieve Engineers (WGE) has announced that they will be integrating their business into global consulting firm Stantec following the successful completion of due diligence.

Managing Director of WGE, Jose Granado has said “we are truly excited to be joining Stantec – it is a move that will expand our reach and provide greater opportunities for our clients and employees alike.”

WGE officially joined Stantec on Friday 1st March, but the process will be a gradual one with the firm retaining its name alongside Stantec throughout the transition.

Stantec is a multi-disciplinary, publicly-traded company that unites approximately 22,000 employees working in over 400 locations across six continents.

Piper Alderman

National firm Piper Alderman continues the expansion of its real estate team with the appointment of a new partner Margot King as Head of Real Estate – Sydney.

Margot joins Piper Alderman from Walker Corporation and has over 15 years’ experience at international firms in both Australia and United Kingdom, her experience also included in-house roles with secondments to Rio Tinto and LendLease.

On joining Piper Alderman, Margot has said “The outlook for urban regeneration and infrastructure projects in Sydney remains positive and I saw a great opportunity to return to private practice to build and lead a practice for developers and investors in property projects. I am looking forward to applying the commercial insight and understanding of client needs that I have developed in-house to deliver premium client service with focussed legal solutions.”
