NSW co-location trial – applications soughtRetirement living operators and developers are invited to apply to be part of a new Australian-first initiative that will co-locate seniors housing with vocational education and training facilities in New South Wales.NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro and Minister for Ageing John Ajaka announced the partnership initiative last week. The trial project aims to provide on-the-job training for students, enabling them to work with retirement living and aged care residents alongside qualified and experienced staff.TAFE NSW is considering trial sites in a number of regional and Sydney outer metropolitan locations.Retirement living operators and developers are invited to attend an industry briefing event in December, which will provide more information about the proposed trial project.If you’d like to attend the event on Wednesday 7 December in St Leonards, register here.
