NSW Annual Retirement Forum
Don’t miss the opportunity to join your sector colleagues at NSW’s Annual Retirement Forum to discuss current and future issues in retirement living.
This all day event is being held on Tuesday 31 July at Bicentennial Park in Sydney and tickets are selling fast.
With the work on a new industry accreditation scheme underway and the draft Retirement Living Code of Conduct now launched for consultation, the retirement living sector will discuss their proactive agenda and debate whether it is enough to turn the page on government and media scrutiny.
These national initiatives, along with the release of the Greiner Report and the upcoming NSW State election, ensures a jam-packed day including the Minister for Innovation and Better Regulation, the Hon Matt Kean, outlining his Government’s plans for the sector.
From the Opposition, Yasmin Catley, will give an update on the issues that Labor will focus on leading into the 2019 election. Kathryn Greiner AO, will also discuss the Report from the NSW Inquiry into Retirement Village Standards, and Commissioner for Fair Trading, Rose Webb, will give a regulator’s perspective.
The NSW Annual Retirement Forum brings together operators, managers, regulators and our customers to delve into the next steps for the industry as well as celebrating the success stories with the announcement of the NSW Village Manager of the Year.
