Not so Liveable Neighbourhoods

The Property Council’s response to the draft 2015 Liveable Neighbourhoods policy found that the proposed changes failed in meeting the policy’s key objectives and will require reconsideration to be fully supported by the industry.

The proposed changes will increase development red tape with limited explanation as to why these changes are necessary. The changes would add to development costs, limit innovation and constrain housing diversity.
