New Village Management training
Previously called Village Management Advanced, this refreshed two-day course is the essential program for anyone working, or aspiring to be, in retirement village management.
This targeted course has been developed in partnership with industry experts to ensure that participants are equipped with the critical skills and knowledge required to manage a retirement village successfully, and confidently engage with residents and other key stakeholders.
This course can be taken as a stand-alone program or part of the new Village Management Industry Diploma.
Over the two days, you will cover:
- Complaints and Dispute Resolution – minimise escalation. Effective use of the 8 Step Escalation Process.
- First Class Customer Service – create memorable and seamless experiences from pre-entry to exit.
- Resident Committee Meetings – achieve the best results for everyone.
- Integrated Care Model and Ageing Well in Australia – ‘My Aged Care’ portal. Wellness approaches to care with a person-centred focus.
- Dementia, Mental Health and Elder Abuse in Retirement Villages – effectively support residents.
- Effective Management of Village Finances – budgets, operating income and expenses, capital works/long term maintenance/reserve funds.
