New schools for Victoria’s growth areas

The Property Council has welcomed Government’s announcement of 10 brand new government schools scheduled to open in 2017.

New schools will open this year across growth areas in Craigieburn, Mernda, Point Cook, Cranbourne North, Cranbourne West, Clyde North and Epping North.

The schools are part of 42 schools under construction and more than 1,000 school upgrade projects across Victoria.

The Property Council has repeatedly called for increased investment into Victoria’s growth area infrastructure, including the construction of schools, hospitals, aged care facilities, kindergartens and private and public transportation facilities. We commend the Government for its commitment to enhancing the liveability of these growing communities.
