New guidelines for building and construction industry 

A new Code of Practice for the building and construction industry has been released by the Victorian Government.

The new Code sets out the requirements for companies tendering for Victorian Government projects, including workplace conduct, agreements, arrangements, practices and procedures.

They will apply to Victorian construction projects previously covered by the Implementation Guidelines, which were introduced by the Government in 2012.

The new Guidelines are effective as of 8 October 2014
