New Victorian Government Architect announced at Growth Summit

The Property Council welcomes the appointment of Jill Garner as the Victorian Government Architect.

Ms Garner has been the Associate Victorian Government Architect since 2010 and is a co-founder of Garner Davis Architects.

Making the announcement at the Property Council’s 2015 Growth Summit, the Minister for Planning said the Office of the Victorian Government Architect (OVGA) will be advising the Government on key infrastructure projects in central Melbourne and across the state. Its Design Review Panel will be responsible for providing independent advice as part of the development assessment process.

The Property Council congratulates Ms Garner on her appointment and looks forward to working with the OVGA on critical projects which will drive Victoria’s future prosperity.
