New Environmental Tools and Plans

The Queensland Government has provided updated climate change risk management tools and the Gold Coast is seeking community input into its Coastal Adaptation Plan.

The Queensland Government has provided these climate change risk management tools to support households and small businesses to learn more about the risks facing them under a changing climate and to take further steps to help manage these risks.

Gold Coast Coastal Adaptation Plan

The City of the Gold Coast is currently developing Our Resilient City – our plan for coastal adaptation. The plan aims to respond to increasing coastal hazards such as erosion, storm tides, and flooding.

The City of the Gold Coast is seeking to collaborate with stakeholders, asset owners, key agencies and the community in developing the plan.
