New connection between Central and Darling HarbourThe Goods Line is an urban renewal project that transforms a disused rail corridor running parallel with Harris Street and Darling Drive from the Ultimo Road rail underbridge to the end of Macarthur Street, Ultimo. The project is being delivered by the NSW State Government through the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority and has also welcomed a contribution from its neighbour the University of Technology Sydney. The Goods Line creates a new urban hub and connects more than 80,000 tertiary students, locals and visitors to the many major attractions of Sydney’s much-loved Darling Harbour. The corridor features a series of elevated green areas, seating and gathering spaces and can be used for a variety of small scale public entertainment, recreation, study and other activities. The Goods Line also operates at a strategic scale providing new equitable links and a shared path for pedestrians and cyclists moving from Central Station and Ultimo through to Darling Harbour.Join your industry colleagues on a tour to be the first to experience this urban renewal project on 28 September 2015, arrival 4pm for 4:30pm.
