National Terrorism Alert Level raised
Australia’s national terrorism public alert level has been raised to ‘high’, following an announcement by Prime Minister Tony Abbott on Friday 12 September.
Owners and operators of places of mass gatherings (including shopping centres and office buildings) are “encouraged to review their security plans and update their contact details with their state or territory police counter-terrorism unit.”
The Property Council has been liaising with counter-terrorism agencies and will pass on any advice as we receive it. In the meantime, please find available for download:
