2020 National Retirement Living Awards wrap-up
Congratulations to the winners of the 2020 National Retirement Living Awards.
The show went On(line)! this year, despite the challenges surrounding COVID-19, and people from around the country enjoyed the awards show from their offices, boardrooms and retirement villages.
The Property Council of Australia would like to extend our thanks to the awards sponsors, without them this important calendar event would not have been possible.
The virtual event hosted by Kay McGrath OAM, was broadcast live from the Sofitel Brisbane Central.
There was also a small gathering held at the Sofitel which included sponsors, judges, RLC members and other industry leaders who watched the show together and celebrated the achievements of their peers.
Long running MC of the event Kay McGrath OAM took the opportunity to interview Ben Myers, Executive Director of the Retirement Living Council, and Stephen Conry AM, CEO of JLL Australia & New Zealand and National President of the Property Council of Australia.
Beamed across the nation, the feedback has been exemplary. 2021, at this stage, is predicted to resume as normal on the Gold Coast giving the industry a much-needed face to face event. We have all missed our interstate colleagues and friends, with 2020 offering little in the way of social interaction.
We look forward to delivering another fantastic program in the year to come and to continue celebrating excellence across the retirement sector. Expressions of Interest for the 2021 National Retirement Living Awards will open in February 2021.
