More retirement living courses launched

For those looking to expand their skills in retirement living in 2017, the Property Council Academy is expanding its offering of Village Management Industry Diploma courses, beginning in February.

The Academy’s three day course, Village Management Advanced, will be running in Sydney from 7 to 9 February. Village Management Advanced is a three day course which provides a thorough understanding of the management, organisational and compliance issues, together with the technical information, to help you thrive as a village manager.

Village Management Advanced will also run in Melbourne from 1 to 3 March, and in each state during the year. Please check www.propertycouncil.com.au/upcomingcourses for dates.

For those who have completed the Advanced course, the final step in the Village Management Industry Diploma is now available.

Village Management Electives are one-day courses for those currently working in the retirement living industry and looking to enhance their leadership capabilities within the village community. These courses may be taken as stand-alone courses or as part of the Village Management Industry Diploma, and they cover topics which are invaluable in the industry:

  • Aged Care
  • Sales & Marketing
  • Facilities & Asset Management
  • Health & Safety

All courses are delivered by experienced retirement living industry professionals who are on hand to pass on their wisdom and talk about their real life experiences.

The Village Management Electives can be taken in Sydney from 20 to 23 February, Melbourne from 8 to 11 May, and later in the year in some other states. Please check www.propertycouncil.com.au/upcomingcourses for details.
